About the Instructor
Your hands on seminar will be facilitated by the founder of Global id Integration, a 20 year veteran in the Bar Coding and RFID industry, Steve Ball. Mr. Ball has worked within a wide spectrum of ADC industry business environments, which includes Intermec Corporation, DataCap International, Epic Data, and Real Data Systems. Mr. Ball's background includes all aspects of business and technology associated with Original Equipment Manufactures (OEM's), Value Added Reseller's, and System Integrators.
During the two – day seminar, Mr. Ball will pass on years of real world, lessons learned, Automated Data Collection techniques and methodologies that have been used to automate business processes within Fortune 500 companies during his career. The two day seminar will be conducted utilizing a how – to approach for defining, developing, managing, and deploying Bar Code/RFID projects for your automation projects. Mr. Ball has been an integral team player and project manager for automation projects at Weyerhaeuser Corporation, Ft. James Paper, FMC Corporation, Nintendo, Washington State University, Washington Department of Transportation, Dyno Overlay, ARAMARK, FoxConn Corporation, and many others. Each project had a unique set of challenges and requirements for successful deployment.
In addition, Mr. Ball has earned the Project Management Professional (PMP) certification from the internationally recognized organization Project Management Institute (PMI). As part of the seminar, Mr. Ball will provide detailed insight, real world experiences, and tools for scaling the PMI's PMBOK standard to Bar Coding and RFID projects. In turn, you will learn how to streamline and keep your cross functional team focused on the details associated with the requirement processes, team meetings, time lines, controlling project cost, management of project changes and more.
